For the first time ever, library mini-golf will be held on the west coast when the Carlsbad Library & Arts Foundation celebrates its 10th anniversary by presenting the event. NRG West is the presenting sponsor

"Mini-Golf FORE the Library" will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 8th at Carlsbad City Library, 1775 Dove Lane. Tickets will be available on day of the event and are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under, who must be with an adult.

"Families and friends will enjoy a great day playing mini-golf inside the library – upstairs, down the stairs, through the book stacks," exclaimed Gina McBride, Vice President of the Foundation. "It’s an exciting new event for Carlsbad."

The fundraiser will also feature a silent auction, an activity area for kids in the children’s garden and family fun, food and activities in the front courtyard. The event will benefit the foundation’s mission to provide major financial support for Carlsbad’s library and arts facilities and programs.

"What a wonderful way to spend some quality time with friends and family while you support your Carlsbad libraries," said Foundation President Rebecca Moore.
"We hope to make it an annual event!"

Sponsorship opportunities are still available for this premier event. Some packages include invitations to a special VIP party the night before. Major sponsors can set up obstacles that showcase their business on or around the course.
